Chief songwriter and founding member Ben Bridwell continues to sculpt wistful tunes that are complimented by his reverb laden tenor and underpinned by lushly layered guitars. Mainly self produced, the band call upon Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes) to apply the subtle touches and accompaniments that cohere the piece as a whole.
