Featuring a red-hot band of Joe Henderson (tenor sax), Herbie Hancock (piano), Butch Warren (bass) and Tony Williams (drums). Showcasing three excellent Dorham originals (the fiery, bossa nova-tinged title track, Sao Paolo and Straight Ahead) plus the Lerner/Loewe standard If Ever I Would Leave You. Includes session photography by Francis Wolff and liner notes by Nat Hentoff.
