Description
Second volume of rhythm & blues and rocknroll/rockabilly songs from the 50s and 60s. These songs tended to show up whenever the late Cramps singer Lux Interior and his partner in crime Poison Ivy, both of them passionate record collectors, talked about their musical influences.
Compiled and annotated by Mojo writer and Righteous Records label boss Dave Henderson, the 24 tracks on the double 10 are devided by record side into topics such as Spooky Doo Wops And Insane Harmonies, Angry Babes Getting Even , Rumbling Rhythms And Wildcat Whistling and Chickens And Other Party Animals . All of them pretty wackynrockin.
The first-class artwork was done by Marc King Low Hegemann.
