Singer songwriter Lucy Spraggan this year signed to to both Cooking Vinyl Records and Publishing on a long-term global artist services deal. Her name is now synonymous to the melodic middle ground where pop and acoustic folk meet. The toe-tapping interpretations of classic sounds and the harmony-heavy ballads that rattle of rap dropped into sing-along folk-style numbers. With over 50 million views on YouTube, over 240 million streams on Spotify and having been the most Googled musician of 2012, Lucy has an impressive and still growing fanbase. For Spraggan, 2017 was another big year achieving a #12 album (her 3rd Top 20 and 4th Top 40 album in total) and selling over 22,000 concert ticket across her UK and European tours. She also performed incredible shows everywhere from Glastonbury, the Isle Of Wight Festival to a cave in the middle of rural Derbyshire (Peak Cavern in Castleton). 2018 began with more landmarks as is she embarked on her first ever SXSW where she played five showcases including the British Embassy showcase at Latitude 30. Meanwhile Lucy has been writing and recording her fifth album in between performing at 15 UK summer festivals.
