Linkin Park return with From Zero, introducing a revised line-up with Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn joined by Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) on vocals and Colin Brittain on drums and production.
Lead single “The Emptiness Machine” leans into the band’s established structure — melodic verses giving way to heavier, more direct choruses. Armstrong’s vocal adds a different texture alongside Shinoda’s more measured delivery, keeping the core dynamic while shifting the balance.
The record continues the band’s familiar approach, built around contrast between restraint and release rather than a full departure in sound.
