Mount as high as possible in the aspect that would catch water. Mounting height of 10-35 feet will give a radar response at between 4-7nautical miles. In tests this reflector gives a maximum response of 10.66m2 and an average RCS of 3.42m2. Folds down and is also idealfor emergency or life raft use.
