Description
Sikaflex®-298 is a one-component slightly thixotropic adhesive and sealant which cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity. It is ideal for use on substrates including marine GRP, steel, stainless steel, plywood and aluminium sealed with an anti-corrosion coating (epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based).
It is most suited to bonding deck covering materials made from synthetic resins (except polyethylene and polypropylene), and for bedding-in and sealing teak plank decking laid on top of the subdeck surface.
Sikaflex®-298 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system as well as with the Responsible Care Program and meets the regulations set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
