The new and refined components of this line combine to give the thinnest, most supple, weight forward profile possible, that correspondingly weights very little and delivers incredible stealth and accuracy at the same time. The ultra-thin diameter, roughly half that of a conventional fly line, creates minimal drag when casting. That means the line speed can be maintained throughut the casting action and delivers the fly of flies precisely where required, with the minimum effort possible. As its drag coefficent is so low, even in a strong cross-wind this line will cut through it to deliver.

WF2/5TD & WF5/4TD

The origional #2-5 weight Thistledown fly line is updated with an even finer braided core allowing a thicker coating, whilst maintaining the same overall diameter, providing and even higher floating line than the origional version. The updates also bring the addition of a #5-7wt option.

WF1/4TD Thistledown 2 Brook Fly Line

A lighter weight model for small rivers and brooks. The #1-4 model, has a shorter, lighter profile than its big brothers, providing supber, delicate presentation, with the lightest of rods from a #1 to #4 weight.
