The Neat Cleat design offers what you’ve been asking for — a retractable cleat with a thin profile that installs easily on narrow gunwales.

Installation is simple and quick – just drill twice with an appropriate size hole saw. Drainage receptacles (included) capture moisture and send it to the bilge via pitot tubing (not included). Attwood recommends using only stainless steel fasteners for stainless steel hardware.
