A Different Kind of Fix is the third studio release from London indie-rockers Bombay Bicycle Club and sees the band return to electric guitars, following 2010s acoustic offering Flaws. Jim Abbiss, who produced their debut I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, returns behind the mixing desk here and adds his distinctive production to the bands sound. This is their third album in three years and it has the outfit exploring funkier rhythms alongside gleaming guitars on infectious summer sing-a-long Shuffle.
