Description
Graham Central Stations third album Aint No Bout-A-Doubt It (1975) expands on their Funk formula of tight bass-driven grooves, Gospel influenced choruses and uplifting lyrics. Their ability to transform Soul & Funk into Pop is virtually unsurpassed. Album opener The Jam is a mid-tempo Dance To The Music-like groover, with a massive drum break that has been used in over 40 Hip Hop tracks. Your Love follows and was a massive R&B hit in the mid-seventies. Their cover of Ann Peebles I Cant Stand The Rain is of stellar proportions. Must have!
