So much has happened to me in the last few years, says Carly Pearce on the release of her sophomore self-titled album. My fans have changed my life and given my music a home in this world. I grew up, let go of things that needed to go, fell in love, fell on my face, went through some hell and found Carly fully for the first time ever. Like her 2017 debut, Every Little Thing, the album was produced by Michael James Ryan aka busbee who passed away in September 2019 from an aggressive form of brain cancer. This record is dedicated to my late producer, busbee, says Carly. Its the last full record he made and one that I am so very proud of thank you for bringing these songs to life. I cant wait to honor you and hear/see how people connect to what we created.

Carly co-penned the bold lead single I Hope Youre Happy Now alongside Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana and it finds her trading soaring vocals with Grammy Award Song of the Year nominee Lee Brice. I am so excited to share such a personal part of my story with one of the best male vocalists in our format, expressed Carly. Lee has the kind of gruff yet vulnerable quality to his sound that I envisioned for this duet and am grateful he agreed to join me. This song is raw and real, truly something I think many people around the world will relate to. It was an absolute pleasure working with Carly on this track, adds Lee. She has such a beautiful and powerful voice and definitely has a huge career ahead of her. Hope everyone loves this song as much as we did recording it!
