‘Disraeli Gears’ is the second studio album by British rock trio Cream, originally released in 1967. Featuring the classic singles Strange Brew and Sunshine of Your Love, the album marked the bands breakthrough in the United States.
Recorded at Atlantic Studios in New York, Disraeli Gears blends blues, psychedelia, and hard rock. The albums iconic psychedelic sleeve was designed by Martin Sharp, inspired in part by lyrics scribbled for Tales of Brave Ulysses.
Widely regarded as a landmark release, ‘Disraeli Gears’ was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999 and ranked #112 on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Now reissued on red vinyl for the first time.
