This album was the first new material released by Earth after a nine-year visionary/founder Dylan Carlson said: Theres an arc to each song and an arc to the album, rather than just a collection of songs. Theres silence and a sense of space to the music. The subtitle is from William Blakes The Marriage of Heaven and Hell.
This version of Hex comes packaged in a Stoughton gatefold jacket.
