Description
kandodo is the debut solo album from Simon Price, singer and guitarist of Bristols heavy psych masters The Heads.
Named after a Malawian supermarket that he used to shop in back in the late 80s, this debut self-titled album contains mini-sonic soundscapes that start firmly grounded and then go off into the deepest reaches of space. Along the way, Simon touches on influences as diverse as Kraftwerk, Neu!, Eno, Morricone, Stooges, Loop, and Spacemen 3.
Simon Price recently collaborated with Wooden Shjips for their Remixes 12.
LP version is presented in a gatefold jacket with high gloss printing on the cover and a free download coupon. The first 500 LPs are pressed on limited white vinyl, remaining copies on black vinyl.
The Heads have a rabid fanbase, with their releases being notoriously collectable and selling out very quickly.
