Description
The Maestrini reducing pipe socket is made from bronze. This material is tough and corrosion resistant making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This socket is used to connect two pieces of different sized pipe. The socket has one 3/4″ BSP female port and one 1/2″ BSP female threaded port.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Bronze is highly suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
