Hortelã is the seventh studio album from MARO — the Portuguese singer-songwriter who won the Festival da Canção in 2022. Following her previous album “can you see me?”, written entirely in English, this record marks a return to her native language: eight of the ten tracks are in Portuguese.
A guitar and voice album, co-produced with guitarist friends Darío Barroso and Pau Figueres, and MARO’s first release on a major label (Sony Music). Intimate, sincere and deeply personal — a record that closes one chapter and opens another.
