Description
New York Days was recorded late last year with a transatlantic quintet featuring tenor sax Mark Turner, bassist Larry Grenadier, pianist Stefano Bollini and the unpredictable drummer Paul Motian. Turners searching, analytical tone with a hint of the influence of Wayne Shorter and Wayne Marsh is in marked contrast to Enricos lyrical flourishes and with the other members on show, this makes for a rare meeting of a unique jazz ensemble.
