An artist portrait personally curated by Hilary Hahn, featuring tracks from the majority of albums she made as a DG artist. Retrospective also includes almost 30 mins of new, unreleased material from a live concert of Mozarts Violin Sonata K. 379 which is new to Hilarys discography. The release also features new recordings of 3 Tracks (earlier versions appeared on Hilarys Encores album). The vinyl release is particularly special since one LP of the 2 LP-set was recorded in the legendary direct-to-disc pressing technique, presenting a full level of immediacy and live concert experience. Hilary is the first DG artist to present a direct-to-disc pressing since the end of the shellac era.
