The Brooklyn duos album is a collection of deceptively complex pop songs which hark back to the dance music of NYCs storied underground featuring contributions by producer friends including Jacques Renault, Richard X, Eric Broucek (DFAs former inhouse engineer) and Chris Zane.
The album comes in special digipack CD with gold foil print on the cover and reverse the vinyl also features this gold print.
The album contains the single Dressed in Dresden (Download this now , A stone-cold killer tune. FACT, You really cant help but fall in love with this track. Q, Track of the Day. ) and the new single Pigeons, which has been receiving plays on Radio 1 and XFM and was added to the playlist at 6Music at the earliest possible opportunity.
The video for Pigeons has been featured on countless blogs and homepages and was recently the most blogged video in the world, beating
new material from Kanye West and Chemical Brothers (according to ). All this follows the streaming online of a Foals remix of Pigeons which has resulted in it being played on 6Music and featured on over 70 blogs.
The band have been in the UK all Summer playing festivals (Latitude, Green Man, Wireless, Tramlines, Big Chill and more), regional and London shows and completing promotion.
