The mixtape introduces the original Rōnin versions of The Way Back Home and Instability: Closer Than You Will Ever Be, alongside eight newly reworked UNKLE tracks that deepen the releases restless, nocturnal atmosphere. Vocals come from a diverse group of long-standing and new collaborators, including Miink, Michael Kiwanuka, Mark Lanegan, ESKA, YSÉE, Elliott Power, Keaton Henson, Liela Moss, Dhani Harrison, Steven Young, and Callum Finn. Lush string arrangements by Philip Sheppard and Wil Malone add further depth, weaving orchestral detail into UNKLEs brooding electronic framework. The visual identity of Rōnin II is shaped by long-time collaborators Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, with design contributions from Toshiya Horiuchi of 7STARS Design and Studio:UNKLE, reinforcing the projects cohesive audio-visual world.
